Relations

Relations in nature occur between people, people and animals as well as people and plants.
When I see my husband sad I relate to his feelings with a caress and a softer tone of voice. When I'm ill my little dog relates to my illness laying close to me . When I sing the vibrations of my voice relates to my flowers that seem to perk their petals up. Looks, hands and body gestures all relate and show different emotions shown by any source of life.

Easter

Mother nature is still playing April's fool with us. After a gorgeous day of spring sun shine and warn air here comes bad weather again. Rain, cold and darkness. Thank God I did not plant the garden yet. It is foreseen to go back down to 35 F. by tomorrow night. We are really jumping from hot to cold. we change from T-shirts to leather jackets every few days. Our poor body has a hard time to adjust to these sudden changes. Doctors offices are full of sick people. Everybody seems to be taking pills. Personally I just take Propolis, vitamins and minerals. I stay away from lab created medication. I believe mother nature put everything out there for us. We just have to recognize and learn how to use it again, just like our grandparents use to do.
We pray for sun shining days and stabilized temperatures so our bodies can finally find it's own atmospheric balance again and feel healthy and in good spirits again.

rain, rain go away

We had two gorgeous spring days. Happiness and loudness was in the air. Then boom! Bad air system crossed and our beautiful spring was left behind. Rain, cold, humid and dark. The poor birds were confused, some abandoned their half built nest. Squirrels retrieved in the tree cavities again and silence reigned again.
Today the sun gifted us with his warm smile again. Hope this time it will shine and warm our spirits with it's light. We hope spring is here to stay and Easter will be again a blessed event full of children laughter's and joy

warm is love

It is amazing how character brightens with the sun shine. Pale faces look rosier, smiles appear on people' faces, walk pace become brisker.
Ancient dynasties adored the sun and the moon as the main Gods.
The God Lord gifted us with the sun and the moon and without them there would not be life as it is.
Sun inspires joy, darkness inspires gloom. Gloominess brings depression and the death of the soul. Sun shine rejuvenates feelings of love and caring

snow men

It came as a roaring lion with flakes dancing everywhere and left as a meek lamb. The beautiful flowers bloomed before the snow storm sag hanging sad on their limbs, but the new buds are ready to pop open to bring back colors smells and joy. The birds came out of their hiding and chirp happy again. Spring is back with brighter colors to inspire our hearts and stimulate our minds.

white velvet blanket

The flowers were blooming, the air filled with spring smells, the trees were budding.
Mother nature decides to regress and bring winter back into the scene with lots of snow flakes dancing around to follow the whispers of the air.
The flowers are covered in white, the smells are buried under the snow and the birds are silenced by the cold.
Let's hope mother nature know best.
The air will be cleaner and we hope the flowers will bloom anew.

white house

my house is all white covered with snow. The lawn looks like a nice, soft white velvet spread.

The tree limbs bear the weight of the snow. The blooming flowers peep their colorful heads through the white snow. The birds stopped chirping, the squirrels stop jumping. Seems as though the white snow spread put nature back in temporary lethargic state.

It is relaxing watching the flakes dance in in the air and lend softly on different surfaces. Every flake seems to dance at a different tune and change direction with the whispering of the air.

It is strange to see palm trees covered with snow and flowers stretching under the flakes to reach for the sun light.

The mysteries of nature are fascinating even if at times we fail to understand their reason.

My grand parents always justified with their saying "Nature knows best"

man's castle

It has always been sad a man's house is his castle.
Both house and castle are just cold buildings.
Women, children, love, family are the only powers that can turn a house and a castle into a home.
A home is a place full of smiles and tears. Full of colors flowers, smells. A home is a house with life.
A home has walls full of secretes and welcomes everyone. A home emits warmth and shelters happiness. A house is cold and just gives shelter

Finally I was able to retreive my blog, Thanks to the help of my friend Mario from Italy. I was overjoyed with his help.

Nesting is a big part of our life, for our nest is our security and our shelter. All types of life need nesting as well as nestling.

See my nest: www.tinahasit.com

My husband and I raised our child and all along improved our nest doing the best we could within our knowledge to clean, repair, enlarge, develop.

We are well nestled in our nest and enjoy a relaxed life

triangle

nature meets love, love meets art. Three beautiful things create a perfect triangle.
Nature inspires all sentiments, shows the most beautiful pictures. Smiles with the sun, the moon and the evening stars. Frowns with clouds, winds and fire.

We are part of the celestial and part of the earth and from both we learn. Observing both we create.

Man learned to build his nest watching the birds built theirs. Different birds build different type nests. Different people live in different type homes.

Every home speaks of the people who live in them from the outside. A well kept yard with flowers, or a little neat garden speak of nice gentle souls who enjoy life and there for others.

A scabby place, unkept with weeds growing among shrubs speaks of people of sinister character or of people who gave up in life.

A person's nest is the mirror of a person's character.

This was an old, decadent Confederate encampment site. Built in 1858 out of sun dried heart of pine. The planks were 4x8 inserted into each other. No nails were used.

This amazing structure withstood hurracains and tornadoes. The reason for it's strength is the love that was put into it during the building process and the following love and care of the different owners who occupied it.

it is now the nest of two elderly people that adapted it to their own life and likings. Two elderly people full of passion for collections, books, arts and nature.

tell me about your nest, how you acquired it, what attracted you to it

I wake in the early mornings and watch the squirrels stuffing their nest with hicory nuts. Then I find myself to resupply the house with non perishable food.

Everything I do in my house there is an animal species somewhere that does the same thing (except cooking and vacuuming that is)

A little raccon was on my back poarch eating catfood. It was so cute. He picked one piece of dried food, washed it in the water bowl and then ate it?

I wandered if some animals are cleaner than some human beings. Curiosity led me to study about raccoons and I learned they don't have saliva glands therefore they have to wet their food to be able to swallow it.

Nature is love that teaches us the art of learning and surviving. Nature inspires knowledge and only through knowledge we grow and create.

Please share your knowledge with me. talk to me about your experiences. It is the only way to learn from each other
